Terms of Service
- Last Updated: 14 July 2026
By using the TrustFusion WordPress plugin, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose and Scope
TrustFusion connects to the Google Business Profile API using OAuth 2.0 to read a merchant’s own public reviews and render them on their WordPress site. The plugin requests a single scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage.
2. User Responsibilities
You may only use TrustFusion with Google Business Profile locations that you legally own, manage, or have explicit authorization to access.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your WordPress installation, hosting environment, and administrative access.
You agree not to attempt to circumvent any access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, or use the plugin to access data belonging to unrelated third parties.
3. Data Handling and Architecture
Tokens: Access and refresh tokens are stored strictly server‑side within your local WordPress database options and are used exclusively to fetch data you authorize.
Storage: Downloaded reviews and limited business metadata are cached in your local database tables to enable server-side rendering.
Frontend: Public website pages render reviews directly from your database cache; no live Google API calls occur in the end-user’s browser.
4. Places API Usage
The Google Places API is used server‑side solely to resolve a copy-pasted Google Maps URL to a standard Place ID. You are responsible for ensuring that any Google Maps API keys used within your environment are properly restricted to your specific domain or server IP address.
5. Third-Party Service Compliance
By using this plugin, you explicitly agree to comply with all applicable Google terms, including the Google Business Profile Terms of Service, the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service, and the Google API Services User Data Policy. Any violation of Google’s third-party policies will result in immediate termination of service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
TrustFusion is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Web City Lab does not guarantee that the plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely compatible with future changes made to Google’s API architecture. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web City Lab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the plugin.
7. Availability, Updates, and Changes
We reserve the right to modify plugin features, internal documentation, or these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the plugin after any modifications constitutes your explicit acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using TrustFusion at any time. Disconnecting your profile or deleting the plugin will immediately purge your active OAuth tokens. Web City Lab reserves the right to terminate your access to our integration software if you violate any part of these Terms.
