Terms of Service

By purchasing, installing, or using the TrustFusion WordPress plugin or the TrustFusion Relay service (reviews.webcitylab.com), you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose and Scope

TrustFusion is a WordPress plugin, supported by our Relay service, that retrieves and displays Google Business Profile (“GBP”) review data on your website. It offers two ways to retrieve review data:

  • A default, no-login lookup of publicly available review data by Google Place ID, via the Relay.
  • An optional official connection using Google OAuth 2.0 (scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage), or by adding our Relay’s Google account as a Manager on your own Business Profile, either of which grants read access to reviews you manage.

2. License Grant and Site Limits

  • Each TrustFusion license key is issued for a specific plan tier (Single Site, or Up to 5 / 10 / 20 / 50 / 100 Sites), which governs the number of separate website domains that may activate that key simultaneously.
  • There is no limit on the number of Google Business Profile locations (“branches”) you may connect on any single activated site, regardless of plan.
  • Your license key is issued to you personally or to your organization and may not be shared, sublicensed, resold, or redistributed to any other individual or organization. We reserve the right to suspend any license key showing activation patterns inconsistent with its issued plan or with a single legitimate owner.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You may only connect Google Business Profile locations that you legally own, manage, or have explicit authorization to access.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your WordPress installation, hosting environment, administrative access, and any API keys you configure.
  • You agree not to attempt to circumvent license or site-activation limits, exploit vulnerabilities, scrape or query the Relay outside of normal plugin operation, or use the plugin to access data belonging to unrelated third parties.

4. Subscription, Billing, and Renewal

  • Paid licenses run for a 12-month term from the date of purchase or activation; your license key and plan details are emailed to you upon purchase.
  • Licenses do not auto-renew or auto-charge. Before your license’s expiration date, you will receive a renewal reminder by email; to continue paid-tier features beyond the term, you renew by purchasing a new license term at the then-current price.
  • Upon expiration without renewal, your site’s connected feature set automatically reverts to the free tier — no data is deleted as a result. All reviews and business profile data already synced to your own WordPress database remain intact and accessible, and paid-tier functionality resumes immediately upon renewal.

5. Refunds and Cancellation

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the initial purchase of a new license: if TrustFusion doesn’t work for you, contact support@webcitylab.com within 14 days of your original purchase date for a full refund. This guarantee applies once per customer per license tier and does not apply to renewal purchases or to accounts suspended for violating Section 2 or Section 3. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing time.

6. Data Handling and Architecture

  • No-login path: Review and business data displayed via the default lookup is retrieved through our Relay using publicly available data, without requiring any Google account access from you.
  • Official OAuth path: If used, your Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted and stored server-side on our Relay (not in your local WordPress database), used exclusively to fetch data for the specific business location(s) you authorized.
  • Local storage: Synced reviews and business metadata are cached in your own WordPress database tables to enable fast, server-side rendering.
  • Frontend: Your website’s public pages render reviews directly from your local database cache; no live Google API calls, license keys, or tokens are ever exposed to an end user’s browser.

7. Places API Usage

The Google Places API is used, via our Relay’s key or your own configured key, to resolve a business name or Google Maps URL to a standard Place ID and to retrieve business/review data. If you configure your own Google Maps API key, you are responsible for properly restricting it to your domain or server IP address.

8. Review Data Accuracy and Availability

Review data retrieved via the Relay’s default (no-login) path may use a combination of official Google APIs and other publicly available data-retrieval techniques. We do not guarantee that this data will be complete, real-time, or continuously available, and availability may change if Google modifies its systems. Where guaranteed, complete, and continuously supported data is required, use the official OAuth or Manager-invite connection described in Section 1.

9. Fair Use and Rate Limits

To protect shared Relay infrastructure and our own API costs, requests to the Relay (including business search and review lookups) may be rate-limited. We reserve the right to throttle, delay, or suspend access for any site or license exhibiting abusive, automated, or excessive request patterns inconsistent with normal plugin use.

10. Third-Party Service Compliance

By using this plugin, you agree to comply with all applicable Google terms, including the Google Business Profile Terms of Service, the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service, and the Google API Services User Data Policy. Any violation of Google’s third-party policies through your use of the plugin may result in suspension or termination of your access.

11. Intellectual Property and Restrictions

TrustFusion (plugin code, the Relay service, and associated documentation) is licensed, not sold, to you for use under an active license key as described in Section 2. You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative products from the plugin or Relay for redistribution, and not to remove or obscure any licensing or attribution notices.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

TrustFusion and the Relay are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Web City Lab does not guarantee the plugin or Relay will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with future changes to Google’s API architecture. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web City Lab is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the plugin or Relay.

13. Availability, Updates, and Changes

We reserve the right to modify plugin features, Relay functionality, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the plugin or Relay after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes to pricing or plan limits will not retroactively apply to an already-active license term.

14. Termination

  • You may stop using TrustFusion at any time; disconnecting a business or deleting the plugin removes its active local data and, where applicable, instructs the Relay to stop using any associated OAuth token.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a license for breach of these Terms, non-payment, license-key sharing/redistribution (Section 2), or abusive use of the Relay (Section 9).

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by generally applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of TrustFusion will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties before either party pursues any other available remedy.
